Mark Alexander Boyd: sixteenth-century Scottish poet, scholar, soldier and adventurer, best known today for his sonnet 'Fra bank to bank, fra wood to wood I rin'. Relatively little is known about Boyd, and still less is available on the Internet. This small site hopes to be a stop for those seeking to learn about this colourful literary figure.
